Heloise Brown and Hannah Peace made a journey down to Stourport Rowing club in the West Midlands to compete at their annual regatta and sprint and bringing home the double sculls trophy.
The regatta marked a significant milestone for the host rowing club as Stourport boat club (SBC) celebrate their 150th anniversary rowing on the River Severn and clearly the weather gods had received a leaflet for the event as it was blue skies all round for those attending.
Heloise and Hannah competed against Hereford in their semi-final clash where they took the lead early and soundly defeated their competition over 1000m. They then went on to the final in the competition where they challenged the host rowing club Stourport and were equally successful in their final race.
